Tour Blogs
August 19, 2010:
We are on the road and touring! Make sure you check each of the band members pages on here for their own tour blogs (we promise all of them will get around to it soon).
The first person to blog is Dane. Check out his tour thoughts HERE.
We have had up's (amazing shows with great turn outs!) and lows (two break downs totaling about $1600.00) but so far its been awesome to be on tour, see new places, and meet new people.

Wolves on the Road
August 10, 2010:
We have start our 2010 U.S. Tour and it started off great in Ocean Shores at Galway Bay Irish Pub. What a perfect place to kick off a long trip with such supportive folks.
We got on the Monday morning and things were going great. Until Montanna. Our van suffered a little bit of a break down which resulted in $1400.00 in repairs and an entire day lost sitting around.
As anyone knows who takes long road trips, an delays or unexpected costs can be devestating to your budget and schedule. Unfortauntely we had to cancel our show in Syracuse at ShamROCKS Rock n' Roll Irish Pub (we are so sorry guys, we really wanted to make it!). And the repairs drained most of our bank account which we had reserved for gas. BUT... thanks to a number of incredibly generous folks who donated money, we are able to recover 1/2 of our repair costs.
Let me take this moment, on behalf of each and every member of the band to express our deepest, most sincere and heart-felt thanks to those of you who we are now considering family members. You did more then we could have ever expected and there are no words that can say thank you enough. We have the best supporters in the world and it humbles.
We will go out there and rock the country remembering each one of you because you made it possible.
First stop now: Cape Vincent, NY.
The Wolves are on the road.

Summertime Cometh
June 16, 2010
It's 65 degrees here in Seattle so, yup, you know summertime is here.
Ok, so it's not exactly a heatwave, especially for those of you in the south but with the "summer" comes our summer schedule. This year is a little different as we are ramping up to our first U.S. tour and the release of our 4th CD.
We've been pretty selective about the festivals we are performing at this year because we knew we would have a full schedule. For those of you in Washington, we've spread ourselves out pretty much across the state. We'll be performing up north in Bellingham at the Downtown Bellingham Sounds, out east at the Prosser Scottish Festival & Highland Games, in Tacoma at the Tacoma Highland Games and out at the shore in Hoquiam for a special (as-of-yet untitled) Summer Concert at the 8th St. Ale House which will feature a number of Celtic musicians.
The show in Hoquiam will officially kick off our United States tour which will take us 9000 miles through 27 states over the course of a month. We'll see many of you for the first time who have found our music online, we will see much of our family who live on the east coast and we'll perform with Chris Byrne's (founding member of Black 47) new band Seanchai and the Unity Squad.
We are also still taking Tour Sponsors! Yes, you can help us with our first ever tour by sponsoring the tour and helping us with all the expenses that are going into it. Your name will be permanently added onto our tour trailer for everyone to see. While you may think $10 isn't much, every little bit helps go towards the gas cost, lodging expenses, and god-forbid any repairs that may be needed along the way. A little piece of you will go along way and you will be rewarded with Behind The Scenes Tour videos.
Ok, I know what most of you are sitting there wanting to know: "Yes, yes, that's all fine. WHAT ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM!" It's coming. For more "insider" information about the status of the album, when it will go on Pre-Sale, how you will be able to pre-order a copy of the CD at a discounted price, video interviews with the band about the recording process and more... join the Razorwire Newsletter right here on our website. Otherwise... you will just have to wait for the official release information.
There is so much happening in the next few months and we are so excited you are a part of it with us.

Sending you to see Sounders vs. Celtics
May 17, 2010:
Doyle's Public House is hosting St. PRACTICE Day July 17, 2010 with Ockham's Razor in concert.
As a special send off and fundraiser for the Razor's 2010 Sofa King Poor U.S. Tour, Doyle's is holding a raffle that evening. The winner of the raffle will with tickets to a very special Seattle Sounders game on July 18th against Scotland's Celtic FC.
Per the Sounders website:
"Celtic FC is making its fourth trip to Seattle and its third to Qwest Field. Winners of a record 34 Scottish cups and 42 league championships, the "Bhoys" from Glasgow boast a huge worldwide fan base. They are instantly recognizable for their green-and-white hooped jerseys. Celtic FC was the first British club to win a European championship in 1967. "
So your generous sponsorship to the Razor's summer tour could win you tickets to this incredible game the following day!
Thank you so much to Doyle's Public House for helping organize this special fundraiser/raffle evening.

U.S. Tour
April 11, 2010
Ockham's Razor is planning our first ever US tour and we could be coming to YOUR city.
From Rochester, NY to Thomasville, GA, Sugarland, TX to Santa Cruz, CA, Northport, FL to Chicago, IL. We are taking suggestions on where our tour should take us.
Where do you live? Is there a great Irish pub that hosts live music there? Let us know! We could be coming to your town.
The Razors also wanna shack up with you!
To keep our tour costs down (ie: avoid motel costs), we are looking for friends who have extra floor space that we can sleep on after a show or between shows. We promise we'll pick up after ourselves and hook you up with merch. Got a yard? We have a tent. Got an empty garage? We have air beds. We're just looking for a roof over our head and possibly a shower.
We're coming your way whether you want us to or not, so why not open your doors so we don't have to huff and puff. :)
